David Yong is an astronomer at the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the Australian National University. He studies the chemical composition of stars to understand the origin of the chemical elements and the evolution of our Milky Way Galaxy. Other research interests include chemical evolution of star clusters and stellar populations.
