Kshitij is an Affiliate Researcher in Astronomy and Astrophysics at West Virginia University. His research focuses on the study of Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs). He uses machine learning to efficiently search for and classify FRBs from noise. Kshitij is part of the Realfast collaboration, which performs real-time FRB search and localization using Very Large Array in New Mexico. He also contributes towards many open source softwares for FRB data analysis.
