This bold $499 release of the iconic sci-fi starship is easily the biggest and most deluxe Playmobil playset produced in the history of the company. It features all the classic TOS (The Original Series) characters, two interior rooms, electronic lights and sound effects controlled via a smartphone app, and loads of extras for some serious collector market desirability, according to Trek Collective.

Measuring an epic 42 inches long and 18 inches wide, Playmobil's Enterprise includes a sturdy display cradle, plus accessory wires for ceiling suspension for a more formal display. The set showcases a gorgeous spacecraft modeled after its familiar appearance on the original series.
Figures include Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, Ensign Chekov, Lt. Uhura, Captain James T. Kirk, Mr. Spock, Lt. Sulu, and Chief Engineer Montgomery "Scott" Scotty. All come equipped with phasers, tricorders, and communicators, plus a special dilithium crystal for engineering, bridge chairs and several troublesome tribbles!

The main saucer section of the Enterprise lifts up to reveal a full 1966-style bridge environment and the ship's sleek body opens on the side to expose a working engineering room. In addition, there's also an oversized dedication plaque for the accompanying presentation.
Playmobil's 70548 Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Playset is currently available for pre-order at Entertainment Earth with an expected release date sometime in September of 2021.
